What could be more seductive than a delicious pink Champagne? A totally festive wine! Its pink colour is obtained by blending the white wine with 8 to 11% red wine. The red wine is also produced by the Veuve Clesse team using Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes picked from old vines (> 50 years old).

Production method:
Initially, alcoholic fermentation only in temperature-controlled vats followed by malolactic fermentation; subsequently assembled with reserve wines kept in vats at controlled temperatures.

Aging: assembly of 2 years of harvest.

Dosage: 9.5g / L

Tasting:
Eye: copper rose gold to fresh salmon and fine, persistent bubbles
Nose: fruity ranging from fresh fruit to blackcurrant, quince and floral notes
Palate: notes of red fruits (cherry, blackcurrant) in a charming, full-bodied and robust palate.

Food pairing:
Excellent tasting and festive salmon coloured Champagne which can be consumed with great pleasure all by itself. It is also great company to mixed salads, white meats, lamb and of course desserts – especially those containing red fruits.
